As I wrote about in October, I’ve been continuing to write a lot lately. My free ebook is over halfway done now, and I’m linking all of the posts here for easy access. Here are the fourteen lessons/chapters I’ve written so far:
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #1: How to leverage advisors and investors as your extended team
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #2: What’s in a name?
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #3: The five critical ingredients to build a big company
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #4: Seven lessons learned on the journey from founder to CEO
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #5: The soul of entrepreneurs — you change the world
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #6: Capture the history of your amazing journey
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #7: A call to action for CEOs on selling
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #8: Bootstrap or VC?
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #9: How, and why, to ask for help
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #10: The most proven way to hire well
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #11: New Year’s advice for middle-aged people
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #12: Action-oriented communication
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #13: To be stealthy or not?
The Entrepreneur’s Essentials #14: Selling to the “Cool Kids”
Why Medium? Because I’m hoping this free ebook helps many entrepreneurs and leaders, and Medium naturally exposes it to an audience versus finding it here on my blog (a silo of sorts).
Why free? Because one of my favorite reads early in my entrepreneurial journey was Seth Godin’s “The Bootstrapper’s Bible”. It was free. Pay it forward.
Will I continue to write on Lucky7? Absolutely, and I wrote this post on the seven critical lessons learned in angel investing recently. And I started cross-posting on Medium at the beginning of this year, which will continue. I always post here first and this will always be my long-term archive of what I’ve learned as an entrepreneur as well as other musings.
Please follow along if you would like by following me on Medium. After I’ve finished, I will write a wrap-up post both here and on Medium that chapter-organizes all 20+ of the individual lessons into my free ebook.
